Blackberry Bold Review - The Wave of the Future For Home and Office

November 11th, 2008 · Comments Off

For many years Blackberry was the only smartphone available, and it was not designed for personal use. Certainly individuals could use it if they desired, but it was not intended for that purpose. It is highly unlikely that many individuals were interested not only because the price was commercially based but also because it was heavier than the average cell phone, and people just didn’t want to tote it with them. In spite of the inconvenience, personal users stayed with text messaging or mobile IM’s rather than paying extra for a Blackberry.

Once other manufacturers began to make smartphones, we began to see newer and smaller Blackberry’s such as the Pearl and the Curve. These were designed more for the personal user and were RIM’s attempts to capture the individual market. With the introduction of the Blackberry Bold, RIM is clearing to make more of a mark in the smartphone industry as they have added a number of features that have never been on any previous Blackberry such as a bigger display to allow the user to read longer emails easier and support for Microsoft Office that allows the user to view documents almost as they would appear on a desktop computer. This involves using Docs on the Go, a mobile program that supports Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Making the move to a Blackberry Bold will make a big difference in the way you communicate with family, friends or co-workers. Instead of having to rely on text messaging, you can use email instead. If you choose text messaging, the QWERTY keyword that is standard on a Blackberry Bold will make for quicker and easier conversations. The fact that RIM is adding so many features that have never been on previous Blackberry issues shows that it is coming into 3G technology and 21st century requirements. The Blackberry is no longer just for business use although personal users will likely prefer the smaller Pearl and Curve.

Since the Blackberry Bold is not yet available everywhere, you may have to search a little harder to find a Blackberry Bold review based on actual usage. It may be worth your while to wait and see it when it is released in your area so you can see all of the new features firsthand as well as discover what mobile phone deals may be in effect at the time. Keep in mind that if you already have a carrier, there may be different mobile phone deals with other carried. If the mobile phone deals are more important to you than the carrier, take some time to inquire, but if you are satisfied with what you current provider offers, it’s simply a matter of waiting until you can take advantage of any mobile phone deals that are available through your current mobile phone provider. With all of the new features RIM has put into the Blackberry Bold, there is little doubt this model is going to be the most popular of all the Blackberry models that have been sold so far.

Get a free mobile phone like the Blackberry Bold. Need convincing, read the Blackberry Bold review for info on this great mobile phone.

Complete CCTV Security Camera Surveillance Systems

November 11th, 2008 · Comments Off

1. The number of Frames Per second your DVR (Digital Video Recorder) is capable of handling. First understanding what that means, A real time second of video is 30 Frames. so a recorded second or video motion that doesn’t skip is 30 Frames. So if your CCTV camera system is capable of handling 30fps that means you can record only one camera real time otherwise the 30fps will be divided into how many cameras they system might support. So when looking for a good CCTV Surveillance system make sure you get a system that does 30fps for each camera. so if you are looking for a 4 a good CCTV security camera system look for a 120fps DVR capable.

2. TV Lines supported by the CCTV cameras. A CCTV camera’s quality is measured by TV Lines, which is the number of horizontal TV lines the camera produces, and of course the higher the clearer and better picture. the average quality is 400TVL, 420TVL is good picture quality, 480TVL is higher quality and more is even Better. keep in mind that TV Lines is what mainly controls the price of the CCTV camera.

3. The Resolution of which the DVR does display and record. which is the original dimensions in pixels of the displayed or recorded video Such as 160×120, 320×240 and 640×480 and the higher is the better.

4. The HDD capacity of the CCTV DVR. which basically means the number of reordered previous days of video that the DVR will keep before recycling. most CCTV systems by default record video based on motion which means if there is no motion there is no recording because practically it will be a still image rather than video. the average for a 4 camera system is between 160GB and 250GB and the higher the more days of recorded video (motion) your DVR system keep.

5. Remote capability. Now a days a standard CCTV camera systems are remote view capable. which means you can view your cameras remotely and virtually from anywhere in the world using the internet using internet explorer or using a remote client that is installed on the PC your accessing the DVR from.

6. Back up and recovery compatibility. CCTV camera systems give you the ability to back up desired video period either on CD-R, DVD-R or USB storage including USB flash drives. Making it easy to export video to other devices for many various reasons. for example making a copy for the police or the insurance company.

Why is Sharp the LCD Technology Leader for Large Tvs and Information Displays?

November 9th, 2008 · Comments Off

Did you know that Sony is looking to buy the LCD panels for its large TVs and information displays from the Osaka LCD plant two-thirds owned by Sharp? (Read: Business Week article: ???Sony and Sharp??™s LCD Linkup???, 27 February 2008).

It Starts with the Most Advanced LCD Manufacturing Plant: Since developing the world??™s first 14-inch color TFT LCD TV in 1988, Sharp has consistently led the industry leading edge LCD technology. Today Sharp??™s Kameyama, Japan manufacturing facility is the most advanced LCD panel manufacturing facility in the world. The plant uses 8th ??“generation technology to produce glass substrates for LCD panels. The new Osaka plant, to be operational by 2010, will use 10th ??“generation technology to produce the world??™s largest LCD panel sheets, measuring 2.8 meters by 3 meters in size where each sheet can produce six 60-inch sets or three 108-inch sets. The LCD panel produced with this technology will be the thinnest and lightest than any LCD panel produced to date.

The Highest Resolution and Industry Leading Picture Quality: The Sharp??™s LCD Information Display, with full high definition 1920 x 1080 native resolutions and with flicker-free, full color (16.7 million) TFT active matrix LCDs, delivers dynamic visual impact to audiences with true life color reproduction and crisp text image on a large screen format. Sharp??™s monitors offer extensive color adjustment capabilities including black level (brightness), contrast tint, white balance (RGB manual setting) and gamma value. The LCD technology achieves high brightness, high contrast ratio and wide 176 degree viewing angle for large format displays with response times of 6ms or less. And these monitors come with anti-glare and low-reflection properties enabling Sharp monitors to be placed in bright areas where other screens might appear washed out. These full high definition displays are a must for a variety of applications like Conference Room LCD White Boards, Digital Signage, Exhibitions, Education, CAD/CAM Designing, Medical Imaging, Simulation, Process Control, and Stock Exchanges applications. It is also finding increasing use in Video-conferencing to deliver true to life images along with the Dolby 5.1 channel sound.

New Features and Sizes that will WOW! You: Sharp??™s monitors can be operated in landscape or portrait modes. Very few competitors provide this feature for large monitors. A Black TFT/Bright Pixel Elimination feature ensures that if a pixel in the LCD monitor fails, it is effectively invisible to the viewer. And Sharp??™s 108??? LCD monitors are the world??™s largest commercially available LCD monitors. In addition to leading the movement toward larger screen sizes, Sharp has met the demand for superior image quality by achieving such ???firsts??? as a resolution that is four times higher than that of current HD (4096×2160), the world??™s highest contrast ratio (1,000,000:1) and the ultimate in fast-motion image processing with 120Hz frame rate conversion and an incredible pixel response time of 4ms.

Operational Efficiency and Reliability that Saves Money:Large screen display customers are experiencing lower operational costs, increased efficiencies and high reliability with Sharp LCD monitors. Sharp closed-box fan-less design protects the screens from dust to maintain the life of the screen
