Winds of Change in the Electronic Security Industry

October 14th, 2009 · Comments Off

The Internet? is changing the way we work in the Electronic Security Industry. Will your Company Adapt or Stagnate ?

Shrinking market share due to changing technologies and increasing competition threatens the survival of many businesses in the security industry – including those with a large subscriber base. Companies that intend to lead and stay true to their vision must change in order to remain relevant to their Customers.

Change improves organisational competitiveness and allows a company to respond to the ever evolving marketplace. However, change brings along uncertainty and leaders must be able to reassure their people that the business will benefit in the long run. Leaders must convince the whole company that IP will play a very important role within the security industry over the next decade and that it would be a grave mistake to think otherwise. Businesses must innovate
when faced with the uncertainty of new technology.

It should be noted that both Customers and employees are resistant to change. It requires a responsible leadership to collectively assemble and integrate the whole company’s efforts toward facing the inevitable. Those who’s job it is to lead the change must first map out a definitive plan for the transition from old analogue technology to the newer digital world of IP. Planning ahead helps everyone understand the direction of change and should be viewed as a chance to open up new opportunities instead of persisting existing insecurities.

Navigating the change to IP is not in itself a gaurantee of success, but more an opportunity to take advantage of new methods of regaining a competitive edge. People within the business must therefore learn how to be flexible, adopt new ideas, new processes and systems and learn to abandon old ways. Leaders and their people must identify what is needed for the journey into the world of IP and what hangups must be defeated as they move from the old land to the new land.

It is essential to work as a team and to ensure that a sufficient number of people with the right technical expertise are on board in order to increase the pace of the transition. If your company believes they do not have the technical expertise to introduce an IP based monitoring solution into your organisation, then think again. Some companies can offer you guidance and patience from start to finish, regardless of your technical ability in the area of IP.

Leaders in your company can focus more on learning to deal with both resistors and supporters. You should make sure that supporters are encouraged, while resistors are either made to accept the change process or are dropped along the way. Clearly state the company vision and mission once a sufficient number of people are on board so that the whole company works and moves in the same direction. Prepare the team mentally through?  education and simulations so that they are in a position to visualise the change process

, as well as to envision the new land of growth and prosperity that the new technology will bring them.

The phone also comes with an accelerometer sensor which ensures images are displayed in the correct aspect by automatically rotating images. To complete the ensemble, a proximity sensor automatically turns off the phone when not in use to ensure longevity of the battery.

The camera which is built into this phone is a 2 mega pixel camera which operates at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. An in built flash offers the means to illuminate objects to be photographed. This is a useful addition and serves the handset well. For those who prefer the medium of video, this is also provided. Smile Lady Cheat, you??™re on spy camera!

October 8th, 2009 · Comments Off

Hidden cameras are quickly becoming the new best friend for many men who have wised up to the sexual ???liberation??? of the fairer sex. Men and women cheat, however, it is a misconception that men cheat more than women. There are some crude statistics that states that men cheat more than women but this is not necessarily a fact, women are just better at spotting male infidelity patterns.

A new study by the Daily Telegraph (03.09.2009), questioning 3000 women, found that 40% of women admitted to having affairs, compared to 30% of men. Furthermore, a survey by That??™s Life! magazine (December 2004) found that half of all women would lie to their husbands or partners if they became pregnant by another man in order to maintain their relationship. Even more worrying is that one woman in two would not tell her partner that the child she is carrying is not his. Let??™s not get started about the 42% of women who lie about contraception in order to get pregnant regardless of the wishes of her partner.

So is it a wonder then that men are turning to hidden spy cameras to monitor the movement of their other half? These cameras are so small that they can be hidden in everyday objects such as alarm clocks, pens, radios, and tissue boxes or even stuffed animals.

So why do women cheat?

Women cheat just like men but for very different reasons. The following are some of the justifications women give for cheating. One is for revenge. A woman may be getting her own back on her ???cheating partner???. Or she cheats because she may feel that she is being ignored and not getting any emotional support at home.

Some women are unfaithful because they feel insecure in their current relationship. With a new relationship comes a sense of security and significance. If a woman believes that she is being taken for granted, not getting the attention or recognition she needs from her off-form partner, then she may seek that from a lover. Other reasons such as lack of affection, unsatisfactory sex life, absence from home, physical abuse and partner??™s addictive behaviour (drugs, alcohol etc.) all contribute to women seeking companionship elsewhere.

Of course, a woman may go astray because she has fallen in love and no longer finds her current partner physically or emotionally attractive.

So what are the signs of cheating?

Women brag that they are much better at hiding affairs than men; this may very well be true given the number of unfaithful high-profile men that grace our front pages. However, there are four main behavioural changes to look for:

She takes an unusual interest in your schedule ??“ this is simply to find out where you will be so that she can plan her rendezvous. She may also encourage you to go out more so as to justify her going out with her ???friends???.

Gym membership ??“ is she suddenly going to the gym, having a make-over, new hairstyle, new clothes? If she is not doing it for you, then she is doing it for him!

She is distracted ??“ is she able to focus on what you two are talking about or does she seem distracted? Women have a propensity to daydream about their ???new love??? which often leaves them with a glow.

Irritable ??“ this is a classic. She starts an argument over something trivial so that she can storm out to ???clear her head???. She will be back much later, so don??™t wait up.

What can you do?

There are various spying options available to the man who wants to find out if his loved one is cheating on him. As mentioned before the use of hidden cameras is quickly becoming the default option. They are small, discrete and inexpensive and require no technical knowledge. Digital telephone call recorders enable you to monitor telephone conversations with date, time and dialled numbers logged for playback. The use of a bugging device is a convenient way to listen to conversations in one room whilst you are in another. If you want to follow your partner but from the comfort of your own armchair, why not invest in a tracker? These inconspicuous devices will track your wife or partner??™s movement and transmit it to you. The device will detail the time, date and location and period of stay straight to you.

Having gathered all your proof of her infidelity you may want to confront your partner tentatively. Women have a tendency of laying the blame of their affairs on their partners!

They say women are nurturers and men are hunters. Well, go hunt!!
